🥳 WPNA Block Party

The Windsor Park Neighborhood Association is beyond excited to be hosting our first ever Neighborhood Block Party + Cornhole Tournament tomorrow! From 4:00pm - 8:00pm we will be closing down Glenstar Terrace right here in Windsor Park for an afternoon of fun and community building.



At this FREE, family-friendly event, you can look forward to a bake sale, raffles, delicious eats from a local food vendor, live music + karaoke, giant lawn games like Checkers and Jenga, plus .... our first ever Cornhole Tournament!



Cornhole Tournament


The Cornhole Tournament begins promptly at 5:00pm tomorrow. If you have yet to register your team - do not fret! We will still be accepting sign ups during the event. For those interested in participating in the Cornhole Tournament: Participants can register to compete as a Team (2 people) or as an Individual (1 person). The winning team will receive a 'Date Night' package of gift cards for local businesses totaling $250.00


Raffle


Thanks to our incredible sponsors and neighborhood partners we have over $3,000.00 of prizes to raffle off! Raffle drawings will be sprinkled throughout the event so get your tickets early! Entrants will be able to choose which item they are entering for.


Ticket prices are:

  • 1 ticket for $2

  • 3 tickets for $5

  • 7 tickets for $10

  • Nose to toes for $20

  • 1 ticket per school supply donated


Food Vendor: Chula + Bake Sale


Chula will be serving up delicious tostadas: Soyrizo & Potato + Summer Bean Salad!


The Windsor Park Neighborhood Association Board + Committee Members are providing delicious baked goodies and treaties to be sold at the Block Party. All monies raised from the bake sale will go directly to supporting future WPNA events and initiatives.


Live Music


Enjoy live music provided by Charlotte area musicians - some who even live in Windsor park! 4:00pm | Aarodynamics 5:00pm | Zack Moss 6:00pm | Funkwondo 7:00pm | Karaoke (sign up 4:00pm -7:00pm)


Parking


We suggest parking at Windsor Park Elementary School, 3910 Sudbury Road. A six passenger golf car will be available to transport guests to and from the parking lot to the event for free. Tips welcomed and will go directly to supporting the Windsor Park Neighborhood Association.
